Job Description

As part of our global team you will be responsible for the specification development testing delivery and support of business solutions in the role of a Data Engineer. You will work with Kafka databases data warehouses data lakes ETL pipelines and related technologies. You are expected to contribute to the vision and roadmap and help build a world-class engineering culture while integrating business value and client experience within the team. This initiative is of critical importance to the success of the organization and our roadmap. We expect a successful candidate to have excellent communication skills deliver high-quality software and be passionate about data engineering. The role involves troubleshooting improving existing systems and ensuring operational excellence.

Basic Qualifications

Databricks is a must
Industry experience working with distributed data technologies
BS or higher in Computer Science (or equivalent work experience)
Strong software engineering experience with in-depth understanding of Python Scala Java or equivalent
Strong understanding of data architecture modeling and infrastructure
Experience building workflows (ETL pipelines)
Experience with SQL and query optimization
Experience with Kafka
Experience working with databases:
NoSQL and/or Relational
Data warehouse and data lake
Team-oriented with strong interpersonal and communication skills
Energetic self-directed and self-motivated
Strong analytical skills
Comfort with Agile operating models (practical experience with Scrum/Kanban)
Preferred Qualifications

Experience with microservice-based architecture
Experience with lending products or ledger systems
Experience in Financial Services or Fintech
