Job Description: We are seeking a Validation Engineer to support datacenter server product validation and power management feature enablement. The Validation Engineer will be responsible for hands-on system setup silicon bring-up support BIOS and firmware validation and performance benchmarking across server platforms.
The Validation Engineer will work closely with hardware firmware and software engineering teams to execute validation test plans and debug issues at the SoC BIOS firmware and OS levels. This Validation Engineer role requires strong troubleshooting skills system-level understanding and experience in Linux-based server environments.
As a Validation Engineer you will contribute to power management optimization and performance confirmation for server products ensuring feature readiness post-silicon and supporting engineering teams in resolving hardware and firmware issues.
Key Responsibilities: -
Manage and maintain validation test systems including:

System setup and configuration

Hardware diagnostics and issue isolation

Operating system installation (Linux Windows Server)

BIOS and firmware flashing (in-circuit and out-of-band fixtures)

Execute feature enablement and validation test plans for power management features during post-silicon phase (3 5 years of validation experience required)

Perform hardware/firmware debugging and collaborate with internal engineering teams (3 years of silicon bring-up or debug support preferred)

Execute power management feature optimization plans to improve system performance

Run benchmark workloads to validate and confirm product performance

Prioritize and manage multiple concurrent validation tasks and projects efficiently

Utilize debugging and validation tools such as:
Required Qualifications & Experience: -
3 5 years of experience in validation engineering server hardware validation or silicon bring-up support

Bachelor s Degree (Required) in Computer Science Electrical Engineering Computer Engineering or related technical field

3 years of experience working with Linux OS server environments BIOS and firmware

3 years of experience in Python scripting for automation and test development

Strong understanding of x86 architecture and server platform architecture

Working knowledge of computer hardware architecture including CPU/APU PCIe memory subsystems and bus logic

Knowledge of power management features and performance optimization methodologies
Preferred Skills: -
Experience in test plan development and validation strategy execution (2 3 years preferred)

Experience with programming/scripting languages such as C/C Python or Perl

Familiarity with server operating systems (Linux Windows Server)

Hands-on experience with silicon bring-up and post-silicon debug

Strong troubleshooting skills to isolate hardware issues from software-related defects
