Job Summary

Value Technology is seeking an experienced Camunda Developer with strong expertise in Camunda 8 Java and modern full-stack technologies to design and implement scalable business process management (BPM) solutions in the Banking & Financial domain. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in microservices architecture cloud-native deployments DevOps practices and enterprise-grade application development.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement business workflows using Camunda (Camunda 8).
• Develop robust backend microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build dynamic and responsive UI components using React and modern front-end design patterns.
• Architect and implement scalable microservices-based solutions.
• Integrate Camunda workflows with enterprise systems APIs IAM and middleware platforms.
• Develop RESTful APIs and ensure secure service-to-service communication.
• Work with databases such as PostgreSQL and Oracle (PL/SQL Advanced PL/SQL).
• Implement containerized deployments using Docker and orchestration via Kubernetes.
• Deploy and manage cloud-native applications on Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using GitLab and DevOps toolchains.
• Monitor application performance using DX-APM and Splunk.
• Ensure application security standards IAM integrations (Ping Federate) and API gateway configurations (TYK).
• Conduct code reviews enforce best practices around scalability optimization availability and automation.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies (Sprint Planning Stand-ups Retrospectives).
• Mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership.

Required Technical Skills

• 8 years of experience in Java-based enterprise application development
• Strong expertise in Camunda 8 BPM
• Hands-on experience in Java Spring Boot Hibernate/JPA
• Experience with React and front-end UI architecture/design patterns
• Strong knowledge of Microservices Architecture
• Experience with RESTful APIs and system integrations
• Proficiency in PostgreSQL and Oracle (PL/SQL)
• Experience with Docker Kubernetes and DevOps practices
• Cloud experience (AWS IaaS PaaS CaaS)
• Familiarity with GitLab CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with Shell Scripting and Python (preferred)
• Understanding of IAM tools such as Ping Federate
• Knowledge of API gateways (TYK)
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Banking or Financial Services domain experience
• Experience working in highly regulated environments
• Strong background in application security and performance tuning
• Exposure to monitoring tools (Splunk APM tools)
• Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies
