As a Security Officer - Patrol and Rounds near Times Squareyou will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents and support access control as needed. You will complete routine rounds document observations using site technology and communicate clearly with tenants visitors and management while delivering a customer-first experience. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants visitors and vendors by following site-specific procedures access control practices and when appropriate emergency response activities at a commercial property location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including contacting property management and/or public emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of building interiors common areas parking areas and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances loading and receiving areas and other designated points to help maintain orderly access verify credentials when required and direct visitors according to site policies.
• Document and report security-related incidents maintenance hazards and policy violations using logs and/or reporting tools and communicate observations to on-site contacts per post orders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a New York State Security Guard License.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Have access control and/or badge experience preferred.
• Have customer service experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
