Job Summary
Job Title: Employee Health & Infection Prevention Nurse (RN)
Job Type: Contract
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Day Shift (8:30 AM 5:00 PM)
Position Urgency: Normal
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Employee Health & Infection Prevention Registered Nurse to support workplace health initiatives and infection control programs. The ideal candidate will play a key role in promoting employee safety ensuring regulatory compliance and preventing the spread of infectious diseases within the healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee and manage employee health programs including screenings immunizations and exposure follow-ups
- Develop implement and monitor infection prevention and control policies and procedures
- Conduct surveillance and reporting of infectious diseases and workplace exposures
- Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
- Provide education and training to staff on infection control practices and employee health standards
- Investigate and manage occupational health incidents and recommend corrective actions
- Maintain accurate documentation and records related to employee health and infection prevention
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (state-specific)
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience preferably in employee health occupational health or infection prevention
- Strong knowledge of infection control standards and healthcare regulations
- Excellent communication organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- No holiday coverage required
- Not a bilingual-required position
