Your role

As a Working Student in Construction youll work closely with the Dutch Construction team to support real projects that are making Fastned stations a reality across the Netherlands. Youll combine site visits with practical coordination and back-office support - no two days are the same!

Your responsibilities include:

• Supporting procurement: creating and processing purchase orders in NetSuite.

• Visiting future and active construction sites to take measurements check progress and create photo reports.

• Performing pre-construction zero measurements and documenting key data.

• Helping request and track grid connection offers with DSOs.

• Supporting the organisation of technical reports (soil noise structural etc.).

• Assisting with delivery planning and materials stock management.

• Handling small administrative tasks like invoice checks and documentation handovers.

• Managing and ordering station stickers and materials for site roll-out.

Who we are looking for

Youre motivated curious and eager to learn - a student who wants real impact and responsibility not just busywork.

Youll thrive here if you:

• Are studying (or soon completing) real estate civil engineering technical business administration business administration or a comparable field.

• Have technical curiosity and interest in construction and installation - experience is nice but motivation matters more.

• Work in a structured and accurate way.

• Communicate clearly - youre not afraid to ask questions or approach stakeholders.

• Feel responsible and can take initiative while also working well with others.

• Enjoy a mix of office tasks and field visits to construction sites across the Netherlands.

• Speak (near-)native Dutch and good English (written spoken).

• Hold a category B driving license.

Whats in it for you

• We offer flexible working hours ranging from 24-32 hours per week and for a minimum duration of 6 months. We understand that your studies require flexibility. We will coordinate working hours in consultation with you so that you can easily combine your work with your studies but still work your hours from the office space in Amsterdam.

• You will be compensated with an hourly salary of 1633 gross (including holiday pay).
