Your Role at Baxter

As the Director of Procurement you will lead the endtoend EMEA / APAC procurement strategy for Baxters manufacturing network. Your mission is to advance strategic sourcing strengthen supplychain resilience and unlock value across raw materials components equipment and services. You will play a critical leadership role shaping supplier partnerships driving performance and enabling operational excellence throughout the region.
This role has global visibility and direct impact on Baxters manufacturing efficiency and longterm competitiveness.

Location options: Spain Poland Germany or the UK.

What Youll Be Doing

• Build a deep understanding of global markets supplier technologies manufacturing processes and cost drivers to anticipate trends and strengthen supply continuity.
• Serve as a senior advisor to procurement teams and internal leaders providing strategic insights and market intelligence.
• Develop and execute global and regional sourcing strategies aligned with business priorities supplier capabilities and manufacturing requirements.
• Drive impactful costoptimization initiatives through competitive bidding advanced negotiations and proactive supplier management.
• Negotiate pricing contract terms and SLAs; draft and manage contracts as needed.
• Set clear supplier performance expectations and partner crossfunctionally to evaluate improve and elevate results.
• Lead strategic RFPs and category initiatives that support growth quality and margin improvement.
• Advise R&D and Engineering on supplier capabilities innovative materials and emerging trends.
• Lead riskmanagement and supplycontinuity strategies across assigned categories.
• Develop strong supplier partnerships that fuel innovation performance improvement and longterm value creation.
• Lead crossfunctional teams to deliver complex strategic sourcing projects and Margin Improvement Projects (MIPs).
• Apply rigorous financial analysis benchmarking and riskmanagement frameworks to guide decisionmaking.
• Foster highintegrity supplier relationships aligned with Baxters Code of Ethics and global standards.

You will be a key member of Baxters global Procurement leadership community collaborating closely with:

• Regional and global procurement teams
• Manufacturing Operations and Engineering
• R&D Quality and Finance
• Senior business leaders across EMEA and APAC

This role offers strong crossfunctional influence and significant exposure to executive leadership.

Your Location

This position can be based in:
Spain Poland Germany or the United Kingdom
with responsibility spanning EMEA and APAC manufacturing operations.

What Youll Bring

• Indepth knowledge of major packaging material categories and their cost performance and supplychain drivers including engineered and converted substrates.
  Experience in the pharmaceutical sector is a strong advantage.
• Strong business acumen and financial analysis capabilities.
• Purchasing or Supply Chain certification desirable.
• High proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel PowerPoint Word SharePoint).
• Proven ability to influence engage and align senior stakeholders across regions.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills with the ability to simplify complex topics for decisionmakers.
• Demonstrated experience guiding teams and stakeholders through the Procurement & Supply Management (PSM) process.
• Strong projectmanagement skills with capability to lead multiple initiatives concurrently.
• Knowledge of Six Sigma / Black Belt methodologies is a plus.
• Multicultural awareness and strong English communication skills.

Education & Experience

• Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Engineering Business Administration or related field.
• Masters degree (MBA or MS in Supply Chain) preferred.
• 10 years of progressive procurement experience including 5 years in a manufacturing leadership role.

At Baxter we are committed to equitable pay for all employees and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The minimum salary for this position is PLN annually. Your initial pay could be at the minimum or higher based on skills and expertise experience and other relevant factors all of which are subject to change. This position may also be eligible for competitive benefits discretionary bonuses and/or long-term incentive.
