Job Description

Performs duties related to delivery set-up installation and/or fitting of home medical equipment (HME). Ensures equipment is appropriate and safe for home use by the client/caregiver and instructs client/caregiver on use of equipment following manufacturers guidelines regulatory standards and home medical equipment policy/procedure. Assures that the proper documentation is obtained from the client and paperwork is completed in a timely and accurate manner. Must demonstrate the characteristics of excellence in customer service to positively promote MercyOne to all customers.

Schedule:

  • Listschedule requirements hoursweekendand holiday requirements.

Hours:

  • Day Shift. On call weekly every 3 weeks (including weekends and holidays)

General Requirements:

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills. Good interpersonal skills. Able to work independently with limited supervision and exercise good decision-making skills.

  • Ability to work with a diverse population of all age groups and in settings that may be less than desirable to the employee.

  • Able to organize prioritize and function in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changes while maintaining efficiency and composure. Completes work in a timely and accurate manner

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Current operators license with a good driving record.

  • Knowledge or background in home medical equipment preferred.
