Job Summary
Job Description:
The Incident Response Specialist collaborates with security and IT teams to enhance incident response strategies focusing on automation and containment. This role involves analyzing the impact of incidents on data systems and networks ensuring compliance with policies and regulations and staying current with cybersecurity trends.
The Work:
- Develop proactive strategies and automation to improve incident response efficiency.
- Coordinate containment efforts and implement response strategies to isolate affected systems or networks.
- Analyze the impact of incidents on the organizations data systems and networks.
- Ensure compliance with policies and regulatory requirements.
Heres what you need:
- Bachelors degree (or 4 years additional equivalent work experience) in IT Cybersecurity Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in incident response or cybersecurity
- Experience with incident response tools (e.g. SIEM IDS/IPS)
- Experience in developing incident response documentation
- Experience in forensic investigations and strong knowledge of data security best practices
Bonus points if you have:
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
- Relevant certifications (e.g. CISSP GCIH)
Security Clearance:
- Must be a US citizen (No Dual Citizenship)
- Active Secret Clearance

The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to office location role skill set and level of experience.
