Under the direction of the Plumber / Irrigation Mechanic the incumbent adjust repairs troubleshoots and maintains all facilities plumbing system and applications. Must have knowledge of local plumbing codes.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Exhibit conduct in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations and Seminole Tribe of Florida departmental policies and procedures.
• Performs all preventive maintenance on systems and maintains applicable log books.
• Conducts walk through inspections of domestic water systems to include water booster pumps gauges and boiler temperature readings
• Repairs showers sinks toilets water booster pumps and on and off-site facilities
• Records gauge readings repairs completed and time lost due to inoperative equipment
• Maintains technical logs and records all relevant data as appropriate
• Knowledge of Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casinos policies procedures and schedules to insure minimal interruption to business operations and to prioritize projects appropriately
• Maintains tools equipment and supplies in good clean operating order
• Promotes positive public/employee relations at all times.
• Performs all duties as assigned.

High school diploma trade school certificate preferred as well as minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of experience with commercial / industrial plumbing or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.

Work Environment:

• While performing the duties of this job the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger handle or feel; reach with hands and arms talk or hear; and taste or smell. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close distance color and peripheral vision depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
• The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
• The Casino environment is hectic fast-paced and often crowded and noisy. May be exposed to casino related environmental factors including but not limited to second hand smoke excessive noise and constant exposure to general public.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with guests in English specific to position duties and responsibilities.
