Job Description:

This job is responsible for testing and delivering complex software requirements to accomplish business outcomes ensuring the testing strategy and processes are well-defined and continuously improved. Key responsibilities include establishing a test and automation strategy creating common test frameworks defining and managing test processes including test data generation defect management and reporting. Job expectations include understanding and implementing internal/external mandate ensuring compliance requirements are met on all levels of test environments and manages traceability.

The Quality Engineer will serve in a key role supporting technical tasks involved in the creation of test automation frameworks for UI using Selenium within Fraud and Claims technology.The candidate will operate both as a Selenium automation developer and functional tester based on individual will serve as a key technical resource within an agile team supporting the ePortal Gateway and support the main bank application that provides Gateway services to internal and external service providers and consumers.

Responsibilities:

• Creates and optimizes test processes including defect management and reporting

• Creates and optimizes test automation frameworks and use of test automation tools

• Leads test planning for complex features that span across the platform or multiple teams

• Creates a test automation strategy across the application stack (UI API and Backend etc.)

• Ensures alignment and sign off for test cases from business and other stakeholders

• Manages test execution and resolves communicates or escalates any issues that may result in test plan variance

• Designs test data and ensure data compliance requirements are met on all levels of test environments

Required Qualifications:

• Candidate will have 7 - 9 years hands-on Core Java/ Selenium development experience

• Candidate will demonstrated technical proficiency applying Core Java automation development in various automation frameworks such as keyword or hybrid frameworks

• Candidate will have hands-on experience using Selenium Webdriver and TestNG Annotations

• Hands-on experience in automating middleware messages SOAP/REST/XML/JSON using Selenium

• Candidate will have 3 years hands on experience managing test case execution using BitBucket/GitHub

• Candidate will have 3 years working within agile / scrum team model

• Candidate will have technical proficiency with CI/CD automation implementation using JENKINS and Selenium

• Optimistic results oriented self motivated and adaptable individual

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or similar related degree

Desired Qualifications:

• Proficiency in web service automation tools such as Rational Integration Tester or Parasoft SOA

• Hands on experience working with Rally for agile story and task management

• 2 -3 years JAVA coding or equivalent development experience a plus

• 2- 3 years hands on experience writing SQL or Oracle queries

• 1 -2 years hands on experience testing with SoapUI
