Responsibilities:
- We are seeking a highly skilled Director/Associate Director - Information Technology who will act as a key strategic partner to US IT Leadership and own delivery against the companys strategic technology solutions roadmap.
- This role is responsible for ensuring consistent high-quality delivery across global teams. The ideal candidate must have started their career as a software developer enabling a deep understanding of system architecture application design and real-world engineering challenges. The role requires a technology leader who partners with delivery teams on architecture and solution designs while providing strong people and delivery leadership.
- In addition the role is expected to bring strong consulting and advisory skills enabling them to engage effectively with delivery directors in US influence decision-making and represent development teams and technical perspectives in broader business and leadership forums.
- While prior real estate industry experience is good to have the individual must be able to understand the real estate landscape from both a technical solution and consumer experience perspective and translate business needs into scalable secure and modern technology platforms.
Job Description:
- Act as a primary technology partner to US IT Leadership driving execution of the strategic technology solutions roadmap.
- Own and ensure successful delivery of roadmap initiatives across application development platform modernization and cloud transformation.
- Lead end-to-end delivery of IT projects with involvement in technical discussions and architecture.
- Provide direction and technical oversight across the full lifecycle of IT systems including design development deployment operations and support.
- Actively participate in solution architecture design reviews and technology evaluations.
- Partner with business and IT stakeholders to align technology initiatives with organizational objectives.
- Design and deliver technology solutions that support real estate business workflows and consumer-facing platforms.
- Ensure technology platforms meet both short-term delivery requirements and long-term architectural vision.
- Track assess and drive continuous growth of team capabilities and skillsets aligned with evolving technology and roadmap needs.
- Grow technology center with right skilled people to add value to organization.
- Establish competency frameworks and development plans to upskill teams in modern engineering practices and cloud technologies.
- Mentor technical leaders and technical teams.
- Collaborate with HR and IT leadership to execute workforce plans focused on capability building and succession planning.
