We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Software Engineer

Principal responsibilities
The role is a full stack engineer that has hands on experience in Java Database & Linux to provide architecture design accountable for L3 support of the daily operations and assigned technical delivery. Also coaching mentoring and developing local talents.
What you will need to succeed in the role:
Responsible For:
- Understand key business problem user requirements work with development team closely to come up technical proposals and facilitate cost-benefit analysis
- Provide application design from front to backend including database design
- Hands on development when required
- Conduct system testing ensure the solution can achieve the business goals
- Support user acceptance test
- Ensure the solutions will adhere to organizational standards policies and practices
- Production incident inspection including L1-L3 support as Agile team to fix the issue or propose remedial actions.
Qualifications
- Hands-on Java Database & Linux design and development experience and ideally a Java SME especially in Database design and tuning area
- Strong analytical skills able to understand the key business pain points guide the development team to come up effective technical solution
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to explain technical options provide professional recommendations and facilitate decision making
- Have experience in micro service design and implementation
- Have experience in finance or banking industry is preferred but not a must
- Results-oriented; takes responsibility and gets the job done self-driven; can work without close supervision
- Experienced to provide L3 support to address any overnight batch jobs related issue for critical business processes
