Job Description
As a Security Officer Armed Mobile Driver in Kissimmee FL you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. Join Allied Universal at a government corrections location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas conduct routine rounds and stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. This is an armed driving post requiring a valid drivers license and an armed guard card or license. You will communicate clearly document observations and support a people-first culture built on integrity teamwork and innovative reliable service.

What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to facility staff visitors contractors and/or vendors by following post orders site-specific procedures and security-related protocols within a government corrections location.
- Control access at assigned points by verifying identification logging entry and exit activity issuing visitor credentials as directed and reporting irregularities through the chain of command.
- Respond to alarms incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner coordinating with facility personnel and/or emergency services as appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas such as entrances corridors parking areas and perimeter zones to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
- Complete detailed written reports and electronic logs document incidents and corrective actions preserve observations and maintain required documentation for shift turnover.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- An armed guard card and/or armed guard license is required.
- A minimum of 2 or more years of law enforcement military and/or corrections experience or a college degree is required.
- A guard card and/or guard license is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
