Data Feed Specialist (CR755)

Our client a passionate team specialising in the web app & IT consulting sphere (aimed primarily at helping independent financial advisers manage split track and analyse revenue) is looking for a Data Feed Specialist to join their team.

A data feed is the automated information we receive from our clients that flows into the our platform without manual capturing. Your role is to make sure that data arrives correctly makes sense and keeps working reliably.

This role sits in the space where operations meet technology. You will work with structured data investigate issues and help ensure information flows correctly between our clients and our platform.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

You will help manage and maintain the data feeds that power our platform and ensure information from providers arrives accurately and on time.

Here is what your day-to-day would look like:

• Activate and set up new provider data feeds
• Monitor feeds and investigate failures or delays
• Identify troubleshoot and resolve data discrepancies
• Work with providers and internal teams to resolve issues
• Validate incoming data and perform routine checks
• Document processes and troubleshooting steps
• Assist in improving processes and automation
• Support operational and feed-related escalations

REQUIREMENTS

You like solving puzzles. You notice when numbers dont look right. Youre comfortable working with data and dont mind digging until you understand the why behind a problem.

Youll also communicate with providers and internal teams so you can explain technical issues in a clear practical way (without sounding like a robot reading a manual).

Ideally you possess most of the following traits or skills:

• Experience working with data reconciliations integrations or system support
• Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking
• Comfortable working in Excel with structured data
• Ability to manage multiple issues at once and prioritise effectively
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
• Self-motivated and proactive yet a team player
• Financial services or fintech experience
• Exposure to APIs mapping or data feeds
• The ability to investigate and own problems
• A structured logical thinking approach
• Curiosity and a desire to understand systems
• A collaborative mindset
• A continuous improvement attitude
