About the Role
ProX PC is looking for a detail-oriented and highly organized Accountant to join our team. This is a comprehensive role that bridges the gap between core accounting statutory compliance and rigorous inventory management.
As an Accountant at ProX PC you wont just be "crunching numbers"you will be responsible for the integrity of our physical stock vendor relationships and ensuring our financial operations run seamlessly within the Zoho Books ecosystem. We are looking for a candidate with a long-term vision who wants to grow alongside our company.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Accounting & Bookkeeping
Software Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date entry in Zoho Books.
Billing & Invoicing: Manage all customer invoicing and ensure timely entry of vendor invoices on respective portals.
Accounts Receivable: Proactively follow up with customers for pending payments to ensure healthy cash flow.
Accounts Payable: Perform deduplication of bills and manage vendor and customer registration/onboarding.
2. Statutory & Tax Compliance
Taxation: Ensure full compliance with GST regulations including the timely preparation and filing of returns.
Logistics Compliance: Generate and manage E-way bills for the movement of goods.
MSME Compliance: Maintain familiarity with MSME regulations and ensure organizational adherence.
3. Inventory & Operations Management
Physical Inventory: Take ownership of physical stock management. This includes performing GRN (Goods Received Note) creation and physically verifying incoming goods against vendor bills.
Product Management: Create new products in the system following established SOPs ensuring Serial Number Tracking is enabled for all units.
Manufacturing Accounting: Maintain a solid understanding of Bill of Materials (BOM) for manufacturing processes and assembly.
Procurement Support: Conduct purchase price comparisons in the market to ensure cost-efficiency.
Candidate Requirements
Experience: At least 3 years of proven experience in an accounting or finance role.
Technical Skills: * Proficiency in Zoho Books (essential).
Logistical Mindset: Experience in managing physical inventory and understanding the lifecycle of a product from GRN to sale.
Attributes: High integrity attention to detail and a commitment to a long-term career path with the organization.
