Minimum: $24.93/hour
Mid-Range: $30.54/hour (10 Years Experience)
Maximum: $33.59/hour (16 Years Experience)
A large accredited acute-care hospital in North Florida is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join its respiratory care team. The facility provides comprehensive services including 24/7 emergency care NICU heart and vascular services stroke care behavioral health surgical services and rehabilitation.
The Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) provides high-quality patient-centered respiratory care in accordance with department standards and state scope of practice. The RRT performs diagnostic testing administers therapeutic interventions and manages patients requiring invasive and noninvasive mechanical ventilation.
Perform and document patient respiratory assessments (breath sounds airway patency cuff pressures)
Conduct diagnostic procedures to evaluate need for respiratory therapy
Administer oxygen therapy aerosol medications and chest physiotherapy
Assist with placement of artificial airways
Initiate monitor and maintain mechanical ventilation
Monitor patient response and notify providers of changes
Assist with transport of ventilator-dependent patients
Respond to emergency situations and support resuscitation efforts
Maintain compliance with hospital and regulatory standards
Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Credential (NBRC)
Active State RRT License
Associate Degree in Respiratory Care
BLS (Within 30 Days of Hire)
ACLS (Within 30 Days of Hire)
PALS (Within 30 Days of Hire)
NRP (Within 60 Days of Hire)
1 Year of Respiratory Therapy Experience Preferred
CRT experience considered but candidate must currently hold RRT credential
