Clinical Leader - Theatres

Oxford Endoscopy and Surgical Outpatient Department Permanent Part time Included Weekend work

30 hours per week

Up to 46000 (pro-rata) depending on experience

We are looking for a Clinical Leader for our hospital to help us build a healthier nation. youre registered with the appropriate governing body and you have the relevant qualifications and post registration in surgery/anaesthetics experience including as a Registered Nurse or HCPC Registered Operating Department Practitioner. With strong clinical leadership you will guide your team a shared vision promoting innovation and sustainability. As a clinical leader you will have good communication and organisational skills and the ability to work as part of a team knowledge and understanding of running a smooth & effective department equipment is also essential.

As our Clinical Leader you will:

  • Conduct and organize the Clinical/ Surgical and Endoscopy team within theatre which include the smooth running of the theatre lists and organizing booking forms and assisting sessions in theatres

  • Work collaboratively and flexibly across the theatre suites to accommodate the service demands of each department which include Endoscopy General Orthopedics Gynae

  • Promote effective clinical risk management and governance within the department including saftey and risk management quality improvement and ensure policies and procedure to enhance patient care and service delivery.

  • Have extensive knowledge required for dealing with audits and equipment.

  • Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of surgical techniques and associated equipment

  • Have ample opportunities for continuous growth and personal development which can include Surgical First Assist training.
