This role is part of Alcons Supply Chain function a team that manages the logistics inventory management and supply chain analytics for Alcons industry leading products to ensure products are delivered efficiently and effectively so that people can see brilliantly.

The Operator II Warehouse & Distribution Operations (Para-Professional & Support Path) is primarily responsible for handling complex tasks to ensure efficient warehouse and distribution processes. You will optimize storage manage material flows and ensure safety. Specifics include:

  • Handle complex manual or operational tasks to ensure smooth processes.
  • Optimize storage space and material flows.
  • Coordinate and execute inbound and outbound logistics activities including coordination with warehouses and other relevant parties.
  • Operate equipment making minor decisions as needed.
  • Enhance technical skills and problem-solving abilities.
  • Adhere to GxP regulations by following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) maintaining accurate and complete documentation ensuring rigorous quality control and completing all required training.
  • Support business performance through accurate task completion and commit to continuous improvement and regulatory compliance.

  • Associates are responsible for meeting their individual job requirements and contributing to the overall compliance of the organization.

WHAT YOULL BRING TO ALCON:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • The ability to fluently read write understand and communicate in English
  • Work Hours: 3rd shift; Sunday night - Thursday night 11pm-7am
  • Travel Requirements: None

PREFERRED SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:

  • Prior warehouse experience
  • PIT experience
  • WMS experience
  • Data entry experience
  • Material handling experience
