You will partner with worldclass engineers and leaders to implement product strategies develop program schedules and milestones define technology roadmaps and drive improvements in engineering quality and productivity. Your strategic mindset will help anticipate challenges remove barriers and ensure smooth execution throughout the product lifecycle.
You will also lead and maintain an optimized program management operating system for programs within your business segment bringing global best practices to support Resideos technology development and product excellence.
JOB DUTIES:
- Lead the full lifecycle of new product development (NPD) for security products within a global cross functional team environment.
- Develop and manage integrated project schedules and milestones coordinating dependencies across hardware firmware mechanical and test engineering teams to ensure system level delivery.
- Apply a solid understanding of hardware mechanical and embedded firmware technologies to support engineering teams throughout development.
- Collaborate closely with R&D to evaluate technical tradeoffs and their impact on project cost schedule and risk.
- Lead the creation of project estimates and cost structures including BOM analysis NRE (Non Recurring Engineering) expenses and resource planning.
- Conduct ongoing budget analysis and variance tracking providing accurate monthly forecasts to management.
- Develop and report key performance metrics (KPIs) to monitor project health team velocity and quality.
- Proactively identify assess and manage project risks and opportunities creating mitigation plans for technical challenges and supply chain related constraints.
- Serve as the primary technical and program interface with key external vendors and ODM/OEM partners.
YOU MUST HAVE:
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in engineering project management within a technical manufacturing / R&D environment
- Fluency in English (written and verbal) with the ability to participate confidently in conference calls and technical discussions.
- Excellent cross-cultural communication and presentation skills supporting collaboration across global teams.

- A proven track record managing hardware development lifecycles (EVT DVT PVT) and embedded firmware/software releases.
- At least 3 years of experience working with security or IoT devices or related embedded systems.
- Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools such as Jira Confluence and Microsoft Project as well as financial modelling skills.
- Strong leadership and influence management capabilities with the ability to drive results in a global matrixed organization.
- Experience working with high volume consumer electronics manufacturing.
- A strategic mindset with strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive action oriented approach under pressure.
