DescriptionPOSITION SUMMARY
- Reports to Sr. Manager Engineering Management.
- Primarily responsible forguidingthe transformation of 3D designs into efficient and reliable production solutions while participating in product quality control and testing verification throughout the entire process from design to mass production.
- To optimize the cost and reliability of product structural systems promote the implementation of R&D standardization and ensure the smooth transition of new products to the mass production stage.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Production Transition Guidance:Guide and collaboration with the Manufacturing department on drawing conversion and production ramp-up to ensure accurate implementation of design intent in the production process.
- Design Issue Collaboration:Work with Manufacturing to identify analyze and provide feedback on R&D design issues driving design iteration and optimization.
- Standardization Implementation:Ensure product design and production processes comply with established R&D standardization specifications.
- Cost & Reliability Optimization:Propose and implement improvement plans for product structural systems to optimize cost and enhance reliability.
- Design Quality Issue Management: Track and drive the closure of design-related quality issues identified during the R&D phase to ensure they are resolved effectively.
- Test & Validation Organization:Organize and execute product testing and validation to ensure product performance and reliability meet design requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelors degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering Manufacturing Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in production or pilot-related roles within the water-cooled chiller (or refrigeration equipment) industry with familiarity of relevant production processes and workflows.
- Proficient in using 3D/2D design software (e.g. CREO CAD Eplan) with solid capabilities in drawing interpretation and guidance.
- Familiar with product quality control methods and test/validation processes possessing strong engineering analysis and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent cross-departmental coordination and communication skills capable of working effectively in a multitasking environment.
- Good English reading and writing skills with the ability to understand and utilize relevant English technical documentation.
