Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Bucket Truck Operator with strong mechanical knowledge to support our District-Wide Signing Operation throughout the Atlanta Metro area. This role works on interstates and state routes installing and maintaining overhead and ground-mounted roadway signage.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate aerial lift/bucket trucks (20 ft heights) for overhead sign installation and repair
- Install replace and maintain overhead span wire signs gore signs and extruded panel signage
- Operate fleet equipment including flatbed trucks and attenuator trucks
- Perform preventative maintenance and minor mechanical repairs on trucks lifts and job equipment
- Utilize power tools and hydraulic equipment for fabrication and installation
- Maintain materials inventory and ensure equipment readiness
- Respond to emergencies including after-hours and weekends as needed
Qualifications :
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Proven bucket truck/aerial lift operating experience preferred
- Mechanical aptitude (hydraulic electrical or equipment troubleshooting experience strongly preferred)
- Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and work at heights in extreme weather conditions
- Valid Class C Drivers License (ability to obtain Class B CDL)
- Ability to obtain Traffic Control Certification

Hourly pay rate: $17-19/hourly depending on experience
