The ideal candidate will be responsible for verifying patient insurance benefits obtaining prior authorizations and referrals and ensuring accurate and timely claims submission. Duties include posting payments managing appeals working accounts receivable (A/R) processing medical record requests and answering incoming calls with professionalism and efficiency. Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed to support daily operations.
We currently operate six locations and provide billing services for 26 Physical Therapists. As a growing organization we take great pride in our strong teamwork exceptional staff and the high quality of care we deliver to our patients.
Qualifications :
- Demonstrate excellent customer service skills in a medical office setting maintaining a professional and compassionate demeanor with patients and team members.
- Highly detail-oriented flexible and able to quickly learn and apply new information effectively.
- Knowledgeable in claims processing and proficient in reading and interpreting Explanations of Benefits (EOBs).
- Reliable team player with a strong work ethic and commitment to supporting overall office operations.
- Willing and able to work overtime when needed.
- Strictly adhere to HIPAA guidelines when handling and exchanging patient-related information.
Additional Information :
The pay range for this position is $17-$19/hr
