Financial & Cost Controller (Internal Finance) with focus on optimizations

Are you a detail-oriented finance professional eager to build a strong foundation in operational finance while contributing to meaningful process improvements This role is perfect for someone early in their career with 1-3 years of relevant experience ideally with a background in accounting assurance or financial compliance.

As a Financial Controller you will be an integral part of our Internal Finance Department working independently and collaboratively with colleagues across the organization to deliver high-quality accurate and insightful financial reporting. You will play a key role in supporting the financial operations of the organization by providing oversight facilitating sound management decisions and optimizing financial performance. Your duties will include preparation of accounts assisting with the preparation of the external annual report handling materials for external auditors cost controlling and balance sheet review the development of collaboration with Global Finance Services (Deloittes shared service center in India) and various other month-end and accounting activities.

In this role you will make an impact by:

• Cost Controlling: Driving effective cost control measures to optimize financial performance and support strategic objectives.
• Driving Process Improvements: Identifying opportunities to streamline and enhance financial reporting processes for greater efficiency.
• External Financial Reporting: Assisting in the preparation of our external financial report ensuring accuracy and alignment with organizational standards.
• Month-end closing: Assisting with various month-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial results facilitating informed decision-making.
• Collaborating Across Teams: Partnering with internal stakeholders to align financial initiatives with corporate objectives ensuring consistent adherence to best practices.

Qualifications :

To excel in this role you should possess the following qualifications and skills:

• A degree with a strong academic track record in Accounting Finance or Economics.
• Relevant experience (1-3 years) within accounting finance compliance assurance or internal controls - preferably from an international organization.
• Curiosity to understand business requirements and a passion for improving processes.
• A diligent and analytical mindset that can provide insights from complex data.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; SAP experience is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with fluency in English being a requirement.
