Lead the transmission system layout and concept design development for e-axle and Hybrid / Battery Electric Vehicle Projects. Setup design approach for Planetary gears Evaluate Transmission and System level requirements to develop Cost & performance optimal Transmission fulfilling requirements Own macro and micro geometry development for gear sets shafts bearings and lubrication systems. Perform Technical risk assessment define measures and guide problem solving for transmission-System level issues. Collaborate with FEA & System engineering teams for system-level durability NVH and thermal simulations. Review and Release 3D models and 2D drawings created in NX; ensure adherence to design standards & BOSCH guideline Lead Teamcenter and SAP release activities for transmission assemblies and components. Collaborate with cross functional team for B-Sample C-Sample D-Sample with Purchase Supplier Plant interface through concurrent engineering. Develop and maintain transmission design guidelines standards and best practices. Mentor and guide designers and drive cross-functional alignment (Purchase Quality Supplier). To prepare the design guideline documents design standards etc for differential. Stakeholder management b/w Design Purchase Supplier Quality teamRequired Skills: Strong knowledge of design and development approach of Transmission system design gear design shaft design and lubrication systems. Strong Result oriented communication & Collaboration with International team Strong knowledge of gear and shaft manufacturing processes heat treatment and material selection Experience with MASTA/ROMAX/KISSOFT for system-level calculations. Hands-on experience in DFMEA DVP and testing correlation. Strong knowledge of gear and shaft manufacturing processes heat treatment and material selection.
