Simulation engineer (CAE) Japan

We are seeking a talented Project Engineer to join our Body Performance team specializing in CAE simulation and this role you will execute advanced CAE activities and integration projects serving as a technical representative of Applus IDIADA to our external clients ensuring clear communication of technical findings and recommendations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage project timelines and deliverables
• Prepare comprehensive technical reports and documentation interpreting simulation results and presenting findings to clients and internal stakeholders
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate CAE activities into broader engineering projects and product development cycles
•  Contribute to the continuous improvement of CAE methodologies tools and best practices within the organization

Qualifications :

• Proven experience in a similar position focused on simulation
• Strong expertise in LS-DYNA / Nastran / Abaqus or other CAE simulation tools
• Proficiency in CAE pre/post-processing software: ANSA/META or similar
• Knowledge of structural principles
• Analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex simulation data
• Experience with FE model creation and management

Education

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering Automotive Engineering or Aerospace Engineering
