Scope of Work Respirators
- Fit testing and use of air-purifying or supplied-air respirators
- Required for chemical handling decontamination or hazardous material response
Micro Deconning
- Micro-decontamination of equipment tools and clean room spaces
- Removal of chemical residues or contaminants
- Maintaining strict particle count standards
Microelectronics / Controlled Environments
- Working inside fabrication (fab) areas
- Exposure to specialty gases acids solvents
- Maintaining ultra-clean production standards
Clean Harbors Trucks
Likely coordination with Clean Harbors for:
- Hazardous waste removal
- Chemical transport
- Emergency response services
Schedule
- MondayFriday regular schedule
- Rotating on-call ER (Emergency Response)
- On-call typically Sunday - Monday (rotating weekly)
- Must be available for after-hours incidents (chemical spills leaks contamination events)

ResponsibilitiesWondering what to expect in starting a career at Clean Harbors
InSiteTechnicians perform a wide range of tasks including:
- Making waste pickups throughout a customers facility;
- Conducting chemical bulking and consolidation;
- Packaging and labeling waste products to maximize efficiency and maintain compliance;
- Participating in spill response on customers site as needed;
- Operating forklifts;
- Inspecting drums for container integrity and regulatory compliance;
- Ensuring the safe loading and unloading of waste hauling vehicles;
- Completing waste stream sampling and profiling.
This position is an entry level role but many of our leaders started in this job!With safety as our top priority youll get the training and support to not only succeed at your job butadvance your career.
QualificationsWhat does it take to work for Clean Harbors
- High Schooldiploma or equivalent;
- Valid driverslicense;
- Grade 4 Industrial Wastewater License preferred;
- Willingness to complete abackground check drug test and physical.
