Job Summary
Staff Algorithm Engineer / Data Scientist
San Diego CA
Qualifications
Masters degree and 8 years of experience required. PhD degree preferred.
Scientific or Engineering discipline required.
Minimum of 5 years experience in signal processing time series data analysis and algorithm development preferably in a medical device setting
Experience with advanced data analysis tools and methods; demonstrated understanding of statistics and statistical analysis of data
Must be capable of supporting projects independently without supervision
Experience with advanced computing languages such as Python R or Matlab
Experience with machine learning and data mining methods
Ability to interface with both clinicians and R&D team and work in a fast-paced multi-disciplinary environment
Capacity to manage multiple projects and communicate ideas clearly to the team; excellent written and verbal communication skills
