Job Description
As a Security Officer - Flex Driver Gate Checks in Lockbourne OH you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. As a Flex Part-Time Security Officer you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. Learn more: As an Allied Universal Security Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location you will manage access control by screening visitors and vendors verifying credentials and documenting entries and exits. You will remain visible conduct routine patrols and communicate clearly with site teams to help reduce security-related issues. This is a driving post requiring a valid drivers license under AU Driver Policy Requirements supporting fast response and outstanding customer service.

What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to visitors drivers and employees by following security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
- Control access at gates and/or entry points by checking identification verifying credentials issuing visitor badges maintaining logs and directing visitors and deliveries to appropriate areas.
- Support dock and yard operations by coordinating driver check-in and check-out confirming scheduled pickups and deliveries and communicating access-related information to site contacts.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including reporting hazards suspicious activity and policy violations through established channels.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances staging areas parking lots and the perimeter and monitor security-related systems such as cameras alarms and access control equipment as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
