Job Summary:
Tellers provide customer service by processing transactions like Help members transactions deposits loan payments and check cashing. Other tasks include balancing the ATM processing night drop and mail scanning documents and handling coin bags.
Primary Responsibilities:
Member Transactions & Service 80% (Deposits withdrawals payments inquiries)
Processing Night Drop & Mail 10%
Balancing ATM 5%
Scanning Coin Handling & Other Tasks 5%
Expectations:
Stay updated on credit union products policies and regulations.
Follow all security privacy and compliance guidelines.
Provide professional service to members coworkers and vendors.
Attend meetings and complete required training.
Maintain punctuality and professionalism.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED preferred.
Less than 12 months of teller or cashier experience required.
Skills & Competencies:
Basic understanding of teller operations and procedures.
Analytical skills to resolve member issues.
Ability to use office equipment (computers phones copiers).
Strong communication skills (face-to-face email letters).
Ability to handle sensitive information and collaborate effectively.
