The Reynoldsburg City Schools Summer School Administrator is responsible for the comprehensive leadership daily operations and instructional oversight of the districts summer learning programs. Under the general direction of the Assistant Superintendent of Leadership & Learning and Director of Elementary Education this role ensures a safe high-quality and student-centered environment that aligns with district STEAM and intervention goals.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Masters Degree in Education or a related field.
- Valid Ohio Administrative License (Principal or Superintendent).
- Minimum of 35 years of successful leadership or teaching experience in a K-12 setting.
- Documentation of a clear criminal record (BCI/FBI background check).
- Proficiency in Student Management Systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Building Principal or Assistant Principal.
- Demonstrated experience in program design specifically involving STEAM or intervention curricula.
- Bilingual skills.

Middle School: $3500 (Stipend)
High School: $3500 (Stipend)
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Primary functions may include the following duties responsibilities skills abilities and other characteristics. Administrative & Operational Leadership
- Program Design: Direct all aspects of the summer session including daily operations scheduling and logistical setup.
- Operational Readiness: Coordinate with the Director of Curriculum and Instruction to ensure all facilities instructional materials and technology are prepared prior to the session launch.
- Student Management: Oversee student attendance academic records and behavior management in accordance with Ohio Revised Code and District policy.
- Fiscal Oversight: Manage summer school resources and expenditures efficiently.
- Community Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact for parents staff and district leadership regarding summer programming.
Staff Supervision & Professional Growth
- Human Capital Management: Lead the recruitment hiring and orientation of summer school staff.
- Supervision: Provide direct daily supervision and instructional support to teachers and support staff.
- Professional Development: Plan and conduct staff professional development aligned with summer learning goals and intervention strategies.
