Reports to: Director Stadium Operation
Classification: Part-Time/Non-Exempt (Seasonal)
Summary/Objective:
The Playbill Passer is responsible for handing out playbills at our main entrance and answer questions in accordance with Companys customer service standards and applicable operational standards.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
- Greets and acknowledges guests.
- Distributes playbills to every guest.
- Resolve all fan questions and escalate any concerns.
- Ability to stay calm and assist guests in case of emergency; medical situation evacuation etc.
- Assist with the distribution of gate giveaways when applicable
Education and/or Experience & Skills:
Required
- Previous experience in customer service and/or sporting event venues is a plus.
- Excellent guest service skills; ability to adhere to Companys customer service standards.
- Good communication skills; ability to effectively communicate with guests and co-workers.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently and as a team member.
- Capable of following job guidelines and supervisors instructions.
Work Environment
The noise level is usually moderate but can be loud within the stadium environment. Must be able to work in all types of outdoor weather conditions and within a stadium environment.
Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
- Ability to stand for entire length of shift.
- Ability to walk up and down stairs frequently if needed.
- Visual acuity sufficient to see and observe guests in many sections.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a part-time position. This position requires the ability to work a flexible schedule including; extended hours evenings weekends and holidays.
Travel:
No travel is expected for this position.
