Job Summary
CANOPY SUPPORT SERVICES IS CURRENTLY SEEKING BOARD MEMBERS WITH THE EXPERTISE RELATED TO FINANCE AND/OR THE DEVELOPMENTAL SERVICE SECTOR.

Responsibilities
Volunteer position with a two (2) year commitment
Provides financial oversight to Chief Executive Officer and Senior Management
Help to determine Canopys strategic directions and priorities on a 3-5 year cycle
Participates actively in governance activities and willing to accept assignments and complete them thoroughly and in a timely manner
Actively participates in Board sub-committee
Approximately 9 board meetings per year; 3-4 hour commitment per month
Who We Are
Canopy Support Services is an incorporated nonprofit organization governed by a volunteer Board of Directors.
For more than 50 years we have been providing highquality services to children and adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD).
As an Accredited agency and a recognized leader in the Developmental Services sector we support individuals their families and caregivers as well as the community agencies that work alongside them.
