As a Security Officer - Manufacturing Patrol Day Shiftsin Elgin IL you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas conduct routine rounds and maintain a visible presence that helps to discourage security-related incidents. You will communicate clearly with employees and visitors document observations and respond to concerns with professionalism and care. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to location personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas warehouses parking lots and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor/vendor check-in processes including verifying identification as required by site procedures and documenting entries and exits.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner contacting onsite leadership and/or emergency services when needed.
• Complete detailed reports on patrols incidents and observed conditions and communicate relevant updates to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
