Logan Health Whitefish has an exciting opportunity for a PRN Registered Nurse to provide critical compassionate care in our Emergency Department.
Logan Health Whitefish is a 25-bed critical access hospital located in the scenic ski resort town of Whitefish Montana. We are in the heart of the Flathead Valley which offers an endless array of outdoor recreation skiing hiking and biking trails whitewater rafting and the breathtaking Glacier National Park. Possess strong critical thinking skills to manage complex patients during intense and prolonged care
Able to work both collaboratively with the team and independently when needed
A motivated lifelong learner eager to develop new skills and deepen clinical expertise
What youll need to have:
Graduate from school of professional nursing required.
Current Montana RN license or a multi state compact license with authorization to practice nursing within the state of Montana; required. BSN degree preferred.
Prior Emergency Department Experience
AHA ACLS and PALS certifications
ENCP certification obtained within 6 months of hire
NRP certification (desired)
Possess knowledge of professional nursing theory medical terminology and principles of professional nursing practice to administer and evaluate patient care.

Shift:
Variable (United States of America)Schedule: PRN Variable 12-hour shifts (Will include night shifts)
Logan Health operates 24 hours per day seven days per week. Schedules are set to accommodate the requirements of the position and the needs of the organization and may be adjusted as needed.
PRN positions (also referred to as Casual As Needed or Per Diem) at Logan Health offer flexibility and are designed to provide coverage during busy periods employee absences and vacations making them an excellent opportunity to support the team as needed. PRN employees can participate in a matching 401(k) plan and have access to the Employee Assistance Program. Additionally they may qualify for hourly differential pay for certain shifts or hours offering extra compensation based on department-specific scheduling needs.Pay rates and scheduling practices may vary by department.
