Key Tasks
1. Data Analysis and Reporting:
a. Analyse data from warehousing transport and logistics operations to identify trends
inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement.
b. Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to provide actionable insights for
stakeholders.
c. Perform root cause analysis on operational challenges and recommend solutions to
improve performance and profitability.
2. Network Modelling and Optimisation:
a. Utilise tools such as Optilogic and other network modelling platforms to design and
optimise Alloga Europes transport network including warehouse locations transport
routes and inventory flows.
b. Conduct scenario planning and simulations to evaluate cost-saving opportunities and
operational improvements.
c. Provide insights into capacity planning freight Optimisation and service level
improvements using modelling techniques.
d. Ensure the transport network is designed to support long-term scalability and alignment
with commercial strategies.
3. Commercial Collaboration and Customer Synergies:
a. Work closely with the commercial team to understand specific customer requirements and
align them with operational strategies.
b. Analyse and identify synergies between the clients network and Allogas logistics
network offering tailored solutions that drive value for both parties.
c. Support customer tenders proposals and presentations by providing data-driven insights
and operational recommendations.
d. Collaborate with the commercial team to ensure the transport network design supports
customer acquisition and retention strategies.
4. Operational P&L Interrogation:
a. Conduct detailed analysis of the operational P&L to identify cost drivers inefficiencies
and opportunities for margin improvement.
b. Provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership to enhance profitability across
warehousing transport and logistics operations.
c. Monitor financial performance metrics and ensure alignment with budgetary and strategic
goals.
5. Stakeholder Collaboration:
a. Partner with Operations Directors Continuous Improvement Teams Warehouse
Managers Transport Teams and supply chain stakeholders to understand operational
needs and deliver tailored analytical solutions.
b. Work with IT and data teams to ensure seamless integration of data into modelling tools
and systems.
c. Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership in a clear and actionable
manner.
6. Continuous Improvement Initiatives:
a. Identify opportunities to streamline operational processes and systems by leveraging data
insights and modelling tools.
b. Support the implementation of new technologies and methodologies to improve logistics
efficiency.
c. Monitor the impact of changes and ensure alignment with business goals.

Key Skills and Competencies:
Analytical Skills: Strong ability to collect interpret and analyse large volumes of data from diverse
sources.
Problem Solving: Proactive approach to identifying challenges and implementing effective solutions.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey technical findings to
non-technical stakeholders.
Technical Proficiency:
o Advanced knowledge of Excel SQL and data visualisation tools (e.g. Power BI Tableau).
o Experience with network modelling tools such as Optilogic Llamasoft or similar platforms.
o Familiarity with logistics software (e.g. Warehouse Management Systems Transport
Management Systems).
Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously prioritise tasks and meet
deadlines.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management Logistics Data Science
Business Analytics or a related field is an advantage.
Knowledge of warehouse and transport operations is required; experience in
general logistics is an advantage.
Personal Attributes:
Experience in network optimisation and simulation modelling is an advantage.
Familiarity with supply chain concepts such as inventory management transport
routing and capacity planning.
Strong interpersonal skills to work collaboratively across teams and
departments.
