What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors employees and/or contractors by following site-specific security-related procedures policies and post orders at a government aviation location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of terminals parking areas administrative spaces and perimeter zones to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify potential issues.
• Monitor access points and controlled areas by checking credentials directing foot traffic and assisting with visitor management and screening processes as required by site procedures.
• Respond to incidents alarms and/or requests for assistance in a calm problem-solving manner and communicate promptly with site representatives and emergency responders when appropriate.
• Complete detailed reports log activities and document unusual occurrences while using radios and/or other communication tools to relay status updates and observations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 2 or more years of security-related experience.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Have customer service experience preferred.
• Have access control and/or badge experience preferred.
• Be able to lift up to 20 pounds preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
