Job Description
As a Security Officer - Flex Armed Patrol in Seattle WA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions and more. You will conduct routine rounds document observations and support a welcoming client and customer experience while maintaining required weapons credentials. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients at a financial institution by following Allied Universal security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Carry and maintain assigned firearm and other authorized equipment in accordance with post orders licensing requirements and/or Allied Universal policies.
- Respond to alarms disturbances and other incidents in a calm problem-solving manner coordinating with site representatives and/or law enforcement when needed.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior areas exterior grounds and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Complete required documentation such as patrol logs incident reports and shift activity reports communicating relevant updates to site personnel and/or Allied Universal leadership.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess a Concealed Carry Weapons Permit.
- Have 1 years of law enforcement experience or 2 years of security supervisor/manager experience or 3 years of security experience.
- An Armed Guard Card/License is preferred.
- A CPR Certification is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
