You will join our Singapore manufacturing team as Operations Technician. You will perform day-to-day production activities and work closely with engineering and quality to deliver safe compliant and reliable supply. Responsibilities
This role will provide YOU the opportunity to perform key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include some of the following:
Perform shift production activities on the day shift to meet safety quality and output targets.
Perform set-ups changeovers and handovers while ensuring correct procedures and documentation are followed.
Carry out routine equipment inspections basic maintenance and preventative tasks work with engineers for complex repairs.
Support investigations into operational issues gather evidence and help implement corrective and preventive actions.
Propose and lead small improvement projects that increase efficiency reduce waste or improve quality.
Take ownership for safe and compliant operations across your area each day.
Ensure batch records logbooks and other documentation are accurate and meet good documentation practice.
Run effective shift handovers and team briefings to keep work coordinated and transparent.
Collaborate with engineering quality and materials colleagues to resolve issues and maintain supply.
Maintain good housekeeping and ensure work areas meet site safety and cleanliness standards.
Help lead readiness activities for campaigns trials or new process transfers as required.
Basic Qualification
We are seeking professionals with the following required skills and qualifications to help us achieve our goals:
Open to fresh graduate from NITEC ITE Polytechnic diploma or equivalent technical qualification.
Practical experience operating and maintaining production or utility equipment.
Demonstrated experience supervising mentoring or coaching team members in a production setting.
Clear written and spoken English and strong record-keeping skills.
Able to work full time on-site during the day shift and support handovers as required.
Preferred Qualification
If you have the following characteristics it would be a plus:
Prior experience in pharmaceutical biotech or other regulated manufacturing environments.
Knowledge of good manufacturing practices and a strong quality mindset.
Experience with basic troubleshooting tools and root cause analysis.
Familiarity with materials handling equipment and inventory practices.
Basic computer literacy for recording data and using production systems.
Interest in progressing into technical specialist process support or supervisory roles.
