Were expanding and are looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Access Aged Care team in Cairns.

What Youll Do
- Work alongside RACF care teams as the on site Access Aged Care nurse.
- Facilitate GP rounds (both in-person and telehealth) to ensure smooth timely care.
- Prepare organise and triage referrals to maximise efficiency and outcomes.
- Conduct bedside assessments and clinical reviews.
- Act as the communication bridge between RACFs GPs and families.
- Deliver excellent customer service with empathy and professionalism at every interaction
- Build strong relationships with residents families and facility partners.
- Use your clinical knowledge and IT skills to ensure quality outcomes.

Must haves
- Bachelor of Nursing and AHPRA registration with no conditions
- Minimum 18 months experience as a Registered or Enrolled Nurse
- Aged Care experience(desirable).
- Clear confident communicator who works well with multidisciplinary teams
- Calm and professional when collaborating alongside facility nursing staff
- Strong critical thinking and sound clinical judgement
- Confident using technology and clinical systems in day-to-day work
- Clinically capable and comfortable working independently
- Highly organised with the ability to prioritise and multitask
- Self-directed reliable and comfortable working autonomously
- Brings positive energy humour and a team-first attitude to work
- A drivers licence and reliable vehicle.
