As a Security Officer - Roving Property Patrol in Bellevue WA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more. Join Allied Universal at a fast-paced telecom technology location as an unarmed patrol officer. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas complete routine rounds maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents and support access control and badge processes as needed. You will also assist employees and visitors with a customer-first approach strong communication and integrity working as part of an agile reliable team.

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees contractors and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout telecom and technology-focused facilities including office areas common spaces loading and/or parking areas and building perimeters; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Monitor access points and verify identification badges and/or visitor credentials in accordance with site requirements; document access activity as needed.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner; request assistance from on-site contacts and/or emergency services when appropriate.
• Complete detailed shift reports and incident documentation communicate noteworthy activity to site management and support security-related investigations by preserving observations and relevant information.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 2 or more years of security experience.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
