DescriptionThe Military Fixed Wing Team (MFW) Project Engineering team supporting military turbojet engines has an immediate opening for a Senior Advanced Project Engineer. The team needs a strong Project Engineer to help lead and execute the team on upcoming military engine design programs & efforts. To meet the needs of the marketplace in the face of stiff competition the team must rapidly develop engines derivatives and support existing engines to be the best in the marketplace through execution of world class project management. The successful candidate will lead a cross-functional engineering team to develop and support major engine systems to be best-in market under strict schedule constraints.
Responsibilities- Lead the design and integration of jet engines for military fixed-wing applications ensuring compliance with specifications and requirements.
- Lead engine related systems integration design and support for military fixed wing (CCA F124 TFE1042) applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope objectives and deliverables.
- Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines and budgets driving operational excellence.
- Leadership capability with diverse cross functional international team
- Escalate effectively with leadership and cross-functionally across the organization
- Strong commitment to customer satisfaction
- Bias toward creative thinking and innovation in product design and approach to everyday work
- Implement design-to-cost and variation-reduction strategies
- Promote and build strong team culture and working relationships
QualificationsYOU MUST HAVE
- Due to US export control laws must be a US Citizen permanent resident or have protected status
- 5 or more years US Military Service or Aerospace experience
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering desired

- Prior systems engineering experience either through direct industry experience or education/training.
- Ability to execute complex projects in an organized and efficient way

- Excellent oral and written communications.
