About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Project Administrator to join our Newcastle team on a 14-month maternity leave contract. Supporting multiple project managers/coordinators and reporting to the Administration Coordinator you will provide essential administrative support to our mining operations across Queensland and New South Wales as well as to our Corporate support functions. This is a dynamic fast-paced role where no two days are the same.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating mobilisation across various mine sites
- Maintaining Health Assessment and Functional compliance for employees
- Managing accommodation bookings
- Scheduling training and managing compliance requirements
- Roster management
- Data entry and reporting
- Processing timesheets purchase orders invoicing and receipting
- Providing general administrative support to projects and support functions (finance etc)
About You:
Youre a highly organised and proactive administrator who performs well in fast-paced environments. Ideally you have experience in mine site administration and/or contractor administration and bring a strong background combining finance administration and workforce mobilisation.
To be successful you will ideally have:
- Strong coordination and organisational skills
- High attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- The ability to manage competing priorities and work autonomously
- Exposure to finance administration functions
- Experience using client contractor management portals (e.g. Pegasus Avetta Damstra Ariba SAP)
- Knowledge of onboarding requirements for QLD & NSW coal mine sites
- Understanding of QLD & NSW mining health assessments
- Experience with ERP systems such as Pronto or INX (desirable)
