As a Seasonal Laborer you will be tasked with performing maintenance duties such as repairing or replacing asphalt concrete work storm drain maintenance hydrant maintenance sewer jetting and assisting with the citys cross-connection program. The Seasonal Laborer position is a team-oriented position that works closely with other City of Novi departments to assist with maintenance activities and investigate citizen complaints or concerns.
Seasonal Laborers usually work shifts Monday through Friday from 7:30am to 3:30pm. We need candidates for the Seasonal Laborer role to work as early as April until as late as November but we are flexible with your schedule and what you are looking for.
Candidates must have knowledge of basic mechanical repair practices used to properly maintain assigned equipment general knowledge of hand tools and have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. You must be at least 18 years old with a valid drivers license to be a Seasonal Laborer. A chauffeurs license is preferred.
Wage: Starting at $16.25 with increases every season you come back.
