Position Overview
Join us in our fast-paced support to the Space Development Agency (SDA). Recognized as the Department of Defenses constructive disruptor for space acquisition SDA delivers space-based capabilities to the joint warfighter to support terrestrial missions through development fielding and operation of the Proliferated Warfighter Space Architecture. SDA capitalizes on a unique business model that values speed and lowers costs by harnessing commercial development to achieve a proliferated architecture and enhance resilience. We are seeking a Program Security Representative to support SDAs mission. Responsibilities include:
Responsibilities
- Provide daily multi-discipline analysis for one or more of the clients SCI SAP and collateral activities.
- Ensure strict adherence to the provisions of the NISPOM its Supplement the DoD Overprint DCID ICD and SAP policy.
- Assist in developing and executing approved policies and procedures for safeguarding SCI SAP and collateral data in support of US military operations including Security Classification Guides.
- Provide daily security support that includes continuous assessment of procedures to identify shortfalls and provide appropriate recommendations for revising and improving security policies procedures and systems; draft Standard Operation Procedures.
- Identify vulnerabilities threats and risks to test training and operational activities. Conduct Program Protection Plan reviews and coordination to ensure OPSEC protections for Critical Program Information.
- Conduct and document SAP facility compliance reviews follow-on facility reviews and facility close-outs and monitor report and track all corrective actions resulting from compliance reviews.
- Conduct exploration of any loss compromise or suspected compromise of classified and/or sensitive information including conducting preliminary inquiries and generating damage assessments resulting from the loss of classified information.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree is required
- Top Secret clearance with SCI and SAP eligibility and willingness to take a CI if required #qinetiqclearedjob
- 5-10 years related experience required
- Must have strong written and verbal communications skills and be willing to actively communicate with co-workers program leadership and clients which may involve delivering presentations.
