Location: Greenville South Carolina
Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: 3x12 Hour Shifts Nights (7:00 PM 7:30 AM)
Weekend Requirement: Every Other Weekend

Position Overview
A leading healthcare facility in Greenville South Carolina is seeking an experienced Childrens Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a 13-week contract assignment. This role will provide specialized respiratory care to neonatal pediatric and critically ill patients across multiple units including Pediatric floors PICU ER and NICU.
The ideal candidate will have strong pediatric critical care experience and be comfortable working in high-acuity environments.
Patient Population
Pediatric (PEDS) Floors
Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU)
Emergency Room (ER)
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
Responsibilities
Assess treat and monitor neonatal and pediatric patients with respiratory and cardiopulmonary conditions.
Administer oxygen therapy aerosolized medications and advanced respiratory treatments.
Manage and monitor ventilators CPAP/BiPAP and other respiratory support devices.
Respond to emergency situations and participate in rapid response and code teams.
Collaborate with physicians nurses and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
Accurately document patient care in EPIC EMR.
Utilize medication dispensing systems such as Pyxis and Omnicell.
Float to assigned pediatric and critical care areas as needed.
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential.
Eligible for or active South Carolina Respiratory Care license.
Minimum 1 year of EPIC documentation experience.
Required Certifications:
BLS
NRP
PALS
Required experience in:
Emergency Room
Pediatric Critical Care
Pediatric patient care
