Job Description
As a Security Guard - Flex Mobile Patrol in San Carlos CA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. As a Flex Part-Time Security Officer you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. Learn more: As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a government transportation location you will conduct routine foot patrols maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents and respond to concerns with calm clear communication. You will support riders and staff with courteous customer service document observations and report issues promptly. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures policies and/or emergency response activities at a government transit location.
- Respond to incidents service requests and/or critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting actions per post orders.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of transit facilities platforms bus stops parking areas and perimeter routes to help to deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and public areas observe for suspicious behavior and/or hazards and communicate conditions to dispatch and/or local authorities as needed.
- Complete detailed shift reports incident reports and patrol logs and use radios and/or other communication devices to coordinate with Allied Universal and site personnel.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
