Role Information

The school is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Data Officer to manage maintain and analyse school performance and assessment data.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing the school MIS (SIMS/Arbor/Bromcom) ensuring data accuracy

  • Producing assessment attainment and progress reports for stakeholders

  • Supporting teachers with assessment entry data uploads and training

  • Overseeing census returns exam data and statutory reporting

  • Creating dashboards and data summaries for leadership and governors

  • Ensuring GDPR compliance and maintaining secure data procedures

  • Coordinating internal data cycles and deadlines

  • Providing technical troubleshooting for MIS queries

  • Supporting timetabling attendance reporting and scheduling tasks

You will collaborate closely with academic leads the exams officer and SLT to ensure the schools data is organised accurate and purposeful.

Requirements

  • Experience working with school MIS systems

  • Strong analytical numerical and IT skills

  • Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy

  • Ability to present data clearly to non-specialists

  • Experience with Excel spreadsheets and report tools

  • Ability to meet strict deadlines and manage multiple tasks
