Job Description
As a Security Guard - Mobile Patrol Driver in Durham NC you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more. As an unarmed driving patrol officer in a healthcare location you will conduct routine patrols stay highly visible and help to deter security-related incidents while supporting staff and visitors with clear communication and customer service. You will monitor assigned areas control access as needed and document observations to support a professional environment aligned with Allied Universal values of agility reliability innovation teamwork and integrity.

What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to staff donors and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas exterior grounds parking areas and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify maintenance and operational concerns.
- Control access by monitoring entrances verifying identification and/or visitor authorization as directed and assisting with sign-in processes while supporting privacy and confidentiality expectations.
- Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner coordinating with site leadership and/or public emergency services as needed.
- Complete shift reports and incident documentation communicate observations to oncoming personnel and site contacts and support compliance with post orders and client requirements.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
