The User Support Analyst II actively participates in user/system support for the companys end users and provides first level network/server infrastructure support. This position assists with the setup and configuration of various components to ensure efficient stable and secure operation of dependent applications and case of failure or incident the User Support Analyst II draws on their technical knowledge to identify causes and quickly implement corrective solutions. This position maintains the security and integrity of company data by managing password and access rights policies and provides direct user support to resolve technical issues within their expertise. The User Support Analyst II coordinates requests through the company information technology (IT) support tool and as necessary documents incident reports (IRs) corrective or preventive actions (CAPAs) or change controls (CCs). By staying updated with technological advancements this position optimizes systems by proposing various improvements and works closely with the IT team on projects support and the implementation of new solutions and systems.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities |
- Provide level 1 & 2 end user support and primarily resolve issues related to various IT systems.
- Provide first level support for virtual servers and systems (VMWare Nutanix etc.)
- Coordinate the support request tool.
- Ensure the proper functioning of IT systems.
- Provision deploy and manage inventory of IT-issued devices and equipment (PCs mobile phones tablets) in accordance with company policies and best practices.
- Monitor system performance and ensure security.
- Maintain configuration management database (CMDB) platform.
- Support the evolution optimization and maintenance of hardware and software components used in the companys IT environment.
- Prepare and update procedures and documentation related to various IT systems.
- Conduct research to improve our IT systems.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelors degree in computer science or related discipline or equivalent education training and/or certification.
- 3 years relevant work experience.
Knowledge Skills & Abilities (KSAs):
- Proficient in Windows (7/8/10/11) Active Directory GPO DNS DHCP VPN Configuration EDR AzureAD and Intune.
- Ability to prioritize tasks utilize time efficiently and multi-task in an ever changing fast-paced environment.
- Able to adapt to changing procedures and environment.
- Displays professionalism and sound judgement in all situations.
- Ability to add subtract multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rate ratio and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
- Must have the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with internal staff and management. Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions short correspondence and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers clients and other employees of the organization.
- Must be able to demonstrate practical problem solving and trouble shooting skills. Ability to define problems collect data establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
- CompTIA A and/or CompTIA Network certification.
